Thought for Food

Did you guys see this? Michael Pollan's favorite popular wisdom from readers in this weekend's New York Times Magazine: The Food Issue.

My favorites are "When drinking tea, just drink tea" and "It's better to pay the grocer than the doctor."

Ain't that the truth!

  1. I know, I know! I always scold myself for doing this but I always eat breakfast reading something. I even get up in the middle of breakfast sometimes to read emails! I know I should keep my mind present to the moment but I get carried away with myself!

    Great find!

  3. Yep. Better to pay the grocer than doctor. That rings so true with my family. My parents have never really link good food with good health. My mom (BC survivor) has never made exercising, nor eating healthy food a priority. I see her starting to struggle with her past choices.
